This site is not the only place doing the arithmetic. The most complete alternative is Chuckw44's Manor Lords planners, a set of seven browser tools covering bees, pigs, livestock, gathering, trade and food supply, plus a written mechanics guide.
Chuckw44's Manor Lords tools →
We link rather than copy. The tools are his work, they carry no reuse licence, and mirroring them here would put his numbers under our name without his say-so. Game mechanics themselves are facts and belong to nobody, so both sites model the same rules independently.
What he covers that we do not
Three of his tools have no equivalent here yet. His livestock planner handles cows and sheep together with butchery strategy and the winter feed chain. His trade and economy planner models route costs rather than a flat sale price. His food supply planner works on variety gating instead of raw stockpile size.
Three others overlap ours directly: apiaries, pigs, and fishing, hunting and foraging. We built those from our own field notes, so the two sets are worth reading against each other.
Where the numbers disagree
Both sites are fan projects working from play, not from a data dump. Neither has the game's real tables. That matters most on trade prices, where the two sets diverge sharply.
We agree exactly on bread at 5 gold, which is the one price either of us can point to a source for. On the eight prices neither of us can source, his figures run three to five times lower: spears at 2 against our 10, wool at 1 against our 5, planks at 1 against our 4.
One of those sets is wrong and we do not yet know which. Our Trade Calculator now labels every price as either community-tested or unverified for that reason. Treat any unverified figure on either site as a starting point and check it in your own game.
His tools are also tagged to the Beta. The Beta moves to the main Early Access build at the end of August 2026, and anything measured before that needs re-checking after.
Other places worth knowing
The official Hooded Horse wiki is the closest thing to a primary source, though much of it is stale. Only eight of its sixty pages saw an edit in 2026 and fourteen still carry 2024 revisions, so check the revision date on anything you rely on.
The r/ManorLords subreddit is where most measured figures surface first, usually as a screenshot in a comment thread rather than anything indexed.
